The Bishops Lodge is an integral part of the history of Santa Fe, nestled within the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and bordered by the National Forest. Situated on 400 acres, this is Santa Fe's only full and complete resort. The personal retreat of Bishop Lamy, New Mexico's first Arch Bishop (circa 1851), the Bishops Lodge was also the summer home of the Pulitzer family and three generations of the Thorpe Family.
